64,000 grain water softener (twice the size of a standard unit), using fine mesh polystyrene resin (for better exchange rate kinetics) and manual time clock. This system has a large prefilter that is not in the photo, and was built for very high clear water iron (21ppm). Also included in this custom built treatment system are dual 100 micron sediment strainers and 12GPM Sterilight® S12Q-PA ultraviolet light with solid state electronic ICE ballast. Installed for a delighted customer in Edgewater, MD 21037.

The picture on the left shows a small water softening and ultraviolet light system that was incorrectly installed by a local plumbing company. The problem with this system is that the U.V. light was installed before the water softener – rendering it useless due to quartz sleeve staining from hard and irony water in less than one year. The picture on the right is the system properly re-piped with the equipment in the proper sequence; also the customer elected to have a 5 stage reverse osmosis system installed feeding their ice maker and cold water dispenser along with the separate faucet at the kitchen sink. Installed for a new customer in Mercersburg, PA 17236.

This customer runs a daycare center in their home and was concerned about acid water leaching copper and lead into the water supply. The water was also staining fixtures throughout the house and was eating their pipes. We recommended our standard 2.5 cubic foot acid neutralizer filled with calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide followed by a large whole house filter with a carbon cartridge. Installed in North East, MD 21901.

This customer saw one of our signs in the yard of a happy customer in Montgomery County and decided to give us a call. They had a water softener that had been totally disconnected for over 5 years. Also they explained to our service tech that a local water conditioning company had incorrectly sold this unit to the previous owner to combat a severe acid water problem. After becoming aware of the fact that what they really needed was an acid neutralizer, and understanding that Mr. Water™ could rebuild the water softener with heavier duty components – they hired us to fix their problem water. The pictures from left to right are the rebuilt softener and acid neutralizer, existing brine tank with new float assembly, and a close-up of the heavy duty Autotrol Performa valves. Installed for a thankful customer in Gaithersburg, MD 20882.

This is a picture of a rebuilt (large commercial size) 4.5 cubic foot acid neutralizer that we fitted with a new Autotrol 263 3-cycle valve after removing the old Fleck valve that was sticking between cycles. The system had to be completely dumped and refilled because it had not backwashed for a long time. This rebuilt system is in Potomac, MD 20854.
This blue resin tank, brine tank, along with a large pressure tank was installed by American Water Technologies approximately 5 years ago. This customer called us because they where starting to get blue-green stains on their plumbing fixtures and the water was not tasting very good. After we tested the water, it was discovered that water ph had dropped significantly and a new EcoSoft Water Treatment Systems 2.5 automatic acid neutralizer was necessary to correct the problem.
